Quality system

Revised Schedule M is now being enforced

Revised Schedule M (G.S.R. 3(E), notified 28 December 2023) is the GMP standard Indian plants are inspected against. The extended deadline for MSME manufacturers ended on 31 December 2025, and state and central inspections are now under way. Because the marketer shares responsibility for the product, your manufacturer’s compliance matters to you.

Questions

Third-party manufacturing FAQs

How long does a third-party order take?

Typically about 30 days from artwork approval, once the 25% advance has been received. The confirmed date is given in the proforma invoice.

How much advance do you take?

25% of the proforma invoice amount, paid to our bank account after the agreement and purchase order are in place.

Which documents do I need to send?

A purchase order on your letterhead with brand name, packing, quantity, rate and MRP; a copy of your drug licence; and the signed third-party manufacturing agreement.

Do you manufacture beta-lactam products such as amoxycillin or cefixime?

No. Penicillins and cephalosporins need a dedicated, segregated facility. Our plant makes non-beta-lactam tablets, capsules and liquid orals.

Can you make a composition that is not on your list?

Only if it is covered by a product permission on our licence. A fixed-dose combination that has not been approved in India before is a new drug under the New Drugs and Clinical Trials Rules, 2019 and needs CDSCO approval first.

Who decides the MRP?

The marketing company fixes the MRP. For scheduled formulations under the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013, it must not exceed the ceiling price notified by NPPA.

Where is the plant and what licences does it hold?

Plot No. 55, Phase III, Industrial Area, Tahliwal, District Una, Himachal Pradesh 174507. The plant holds drug manufacturing licences in Form 25 and Form 28 under the Drugs Rules, 1945.
